After all the a la carte selections you end up paying the same amount for Frontier/Spirit than you do the other major airlines.

I'll never fly either of those two POS airlines again.

Congrats on picking up on the dripping irony.

Next time we're together, first round is on me.

The true humor is you getting yours in that sardine can sized garage, while his sits outside of a garage bigger than my house.

I'm guessing it has something to do with the fact that I'm not married :)

Maybe, I'm single too and chances of getting a truck in my garage are none at all.

That's because your sardine can is filled with work benches and medieval tools.

So they just kept the plane on the ground solely due to the fact that they didn't want to fly anywhere yesterday?

They are a discount airline with plenty of potential for getting you places on the cheap.

Plenty of people whine about them but I've flown them plenty without issues, and without paying much at all. I get my happy ass on the plane without picking my favorite seat, pack a small personal item bag and realize that i didn't pay for a private leer jet, so i shouldn't expect a massaging heated leather recliner on a discount plane. And they do their part of the deal and fly the airborne Greyhound to wherever they say they are going to.

    :notsure:

I do about 30 business trips a year.

The amount of issues I've had with Frontier/Spirit is way out of proportion of any other airline.

The only way to keep it cheap with them is to not carry on or check a bag. Average charge for doing either is $45.

Oh and be sure to print your boarding pass at home because they'll charge you an additional $15 to do so at the airport.

Spirit/Frontier also do not have gate or baggage handling priorities at DIA. Meaning if there are planes waiting for a gate, these airlines get bumped back. And if you're at a gate, their planes are last to have bags handled. It's why I've waited as long as 1.5 hrs just to get my checked luggage.

I won't even go into the time that attendants over served a passenger to the point that he hurled in the aisle. About 3 rows behind me. Imagine that smell for the flight.

Anywho... To each their own. I'll never fly those airlines, period. :)

Ironically I've been at DIA since 6:30 this morning.

My American flight is sitting about 20 feet from the jetway waiting for a fucking tug to bring it in.

    Last trip of the year.

Can't wait to take two weeks off when I get back tomorrow.

If it's for business... Time to book the leer jet silly!

Well like i said, i don't pack checked or carry-on bags, i have my pass on my phone, and haven't ever had an issue with it being late. Sure i jinxed myself, but the next flight is also free so oh well. :D

The amount of business I drum up for this company, MF'ER better be flying me on a private jet from now on.

You don't check or carry on bags? Do you wear 5 layers of underwear, socks, pants, and shirts or something?

Didn't realize Spirit/Frontier initiated mobile boarding passes. Last time I flew them they didn't.

Done! Just needs an alignment and set up the limit straps. It rides close to the spindle but I'm sure the alignment will fix that. Other than that it rides great!
