Truck is slowly going back together. I've gotten everything but diffs here. The front section of the frame is just about done getting cleaned and covered in POR15 and all the wiring to the front of the truck is done and cleaned up.

Headlights are pretty much finished until I found out both my XB55 ballasts are bad... interesting :bananadead:

Free comp came with lockers with a deal ECGS was doing.
I just put the old pods up for sale.
    -$40+ shipping
Bumper reinforcements have to be welded on and the old studs cut off and drilled out for 1/2" bolts

I didn't do much snow driving on them last winter but they did fine for how much I did. I did more off road snow with them then on road. They have full siping which helps. The only downside I have to the MXTs is the weak sidewall. I punctured two of them in Moab on a cliff edge by barely scuffing the rocks.

Which falkens? The wild peaks suck unless you're somewhere where it is constantly dry

I got the the new AtW3s. Been having some super fast wear with 6k miles on them. Snow driving has been a combination of luck and skill. They do not give any confidence at all.

That's interesting since those tires are designed to be good in snow and colder conditions...

i am very confused by it as well. we got about 4-6 inches last night, had about 1.5 on the road this morning. so i tossed some more weight in the bed in the hopes that would help. floating around 250 pounds now. it was better, but truck still wanted to wonder and very minimal braking grip. 4wd helped but turning was done more with throttle then anything else.

Retrofits are done! Everything is in and diffs should be here end of week/early next week. Bumper is just about done.

    Frame is almost finished.

Hoping this thing will be rolling in two weeks. :burnrubber:
