Since some of y'all were discussing MPG before. I did my first fill-up from empty yesterday. On a full tank with running the supercharger, the truck averaged 16.8. This tank included a LOT of giving it the beans for "testing" purposes. My commute is 8 miles each way so I rarely get any extended highway driving. Pre-supercharger, it was averaging 19. I think, driven in a sane manner it will produce numbers pretty close to what it produced before.

Yesterday I went to order my cap (Leer 100XQ) and I called 6 dealers to get the best price. The fourth place I called was $300 cheaper than the lowest of other 5. But it was 60 miles from me. So I had the chance to do a lot more "testing". Which also emptied the fuel tank the rest of the way! IMHO, freeway driving is where the supercharger really shines. I haven't towed anything yet but that too is probably another area where it will be a welcome addition.

The boost sensor you mount somewhere in the engine bay. I just zip tied the sensor to a big harness by the driver fender close to the firewall. There's a rubber hose you run from the sensor to the boost port on the top of the supercharger. Near the firewall you'll see a port sticking up with a rubber cap on it. That's the boost reference port.

For fuel pressure, I'm not sure where other guys are tapping into theirs but I ordered a URD fuel rail tap. It's a billet aluminum part that mounts between the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel rail. Fuel pressure regulator is on the passenger side. It is serviceable without removing the supercharger. The URD fuel rail tap adds a 1/8" NPT hole which allows you to screw in the fuel pressure sensor that comes with your gauge.

The wideband O2 sensors are added in various locations. I chose to drill holes in the exhaust manifolds and welded the O2 bungs that came with my wideband O2 sensor kits. Mine are located just before the catalytic converters. Many guys only run 1 wideband and say they have good luck with mounting the O2 sensor bung after the catalytic converters in the Y pipe.

Looks like fuel pump upgrade and oil catch can are on my project list.
Today though, is SOS Concepts bumpers install day!

Lots of threads on oil catch cans and seems like everyone has done something different.

Did you guys go with the 255 walbro or switch to one of the other pumps?

    A couple other random things...
Does your truck have a brake booster? I would've thought they all would have but mine doesnt.
And, the part I like best about the BD is how it changed the shifting behavior. Significantly firmer, quicker shifts. (I'm using the stock shift point setting unless I accidently used the wrong tune) One thing I've noticed though is occasionally when I get on the interstate it doesn't shift into overdrive. Even ramping up the speed doesn't make it shift. Manually putting the truck in 4 and back in Drive will make it instantly shift into overdrive. I never had that happen prior to SC install.
    Anyone else have this happen?

It's gonna be a tight fit getting the hose on the engine side with the blower installed - pull the rear support bracket and if you have any helpers with tiny hands have them wiggle it on.

Real pita to get the bottom of the can off to drain, but I dont see any better places to mount the thing.

I have the Deatschwerks 255lph pump. No complaints.

If you're able and your catch can has a threaded NPT connection at the bottom of the can itself:

attach to the catch can a 90° elbow downwards, a quarter turn ball valve, and a 12" or so stainless steel braided hose. Run the hose along side the inner fender till it's easily to access from the wheel well. That way you just stick the bottom of the hose into a sump bottle of your choice and open a valve to drain your catch can.

Good suggestion, but no connections at the bottom of the can. I was thinking about doing something similar with the nipple on the bottom of the oil filter cup, but I just stick a water bottle under it and let it drain directly into it.

I was trying to keep the lines as short as possible. Wasn't sure if having them too long would result in built up oil and possibly clogging.

The only changes are due to the drivers right foot... if not making boost, it .5hp lost.

I still get 21 highway even when uphill, passing, and averaging 75mph.

That's my greatest fear; my truck usually sits all week till the weekend so I don't feel there is enough traffic in the lines to keep them from fouling. Then again, it's easy enough* to disconnect the hoses and clean or replace them.

    I'm jealous. I have never seen 21mpg.

    Thank you for the info.

    Boost seem straight forward.

For fuel, I was looking at the URD fuel tap as well. I just need to verify with URD if it will work with 2015 models.

I've got an AEM on order, and will be running it aft Y-pipe.

I'll be looking to run oil pressure and temp as well.

2006 offroad prerunner.... pops in law 250ish, me 300ish, luggage, sliders, 2" lift, full toolbox, 265/75/16, afe, 2.85, long tubes, urd y, urd mk2 exhaust.

    Ymmv literally i guess...

The mpg was using my garmin at the time, it logged miles driven and did the math to calculate the logged (manually) gallons at each fill.

    I miss that gps.

That's why you get better mileage right there. Less weight and no parasitic losses from a transfer case.

Doesnt change the fact my mileage was not noticably effected via blower.

My trucks rated 21 stock highway
