Just wondering if any of you drive your taco everyday to work like I do. My daily commute is 60 miles round trip and I am getting about 18 mpg on country road driving.

My current job is less than a mile away. Get about 16-18mpg.

My previous job was about 80 miles there and back. Got about 20-22mpg.

Edit: current job 112 miles away. 224 miles a day. I don’t even bother driving the truck as much as I can but when I do, I get around 17mpg. :/

    A few things
Depends on the jobsite. Closest I've worked is 3 miles each way and longest was about 90 each way.

How do you get 16-18 MPG less than a mile away...? Your post trip ride summary shows that? Or your truck averages that in general?

    I'd think a less than 1 mile drive you'd get like 10

My commute is 3.7 miles from my door to the hangar. I couldn't do a 40 mile commute, that's way too much time spent sitting in a vehicle instead of doing something productive. The longest I've had was about 15 miles each way because I lived out in the boonies instead of in town.

I love how a thread about long commutes turns into people posting a 2 mile commute. Most of us came here to feel better about our commute when we read people drive 80 mi each way. 2 mi doesn't make me feel better..

I rarely commute in mine but if I have to I'm 100 miles round trip. Occasionally there is another site that will need support which is 200 miles round trip.
    19.5ish mpgs

67 miles one way, most of that is hwy.

MPG is in my sig (23.6 currently), but I just changed the wheels and added a cap. So far on this first tank since, I'm not noticing any difference.
