No doubt. They're 400 new. Saw one on CL for 200, was going to buy but it got snatched. Just as well. My 18.5 is perfect size for the two of us. Big family or event, the 22 would be nice.

How many racks of ribs can you get on your 18.5?

I always do a 3 pack of baby backs from Costco on the top grill in a rack. Could do same on bottom grill but never have. You can also curl them up and get like 12 in there but that seems goofy to me. I can fit a 14 pound packer brisket on top rack. Like I said, with two of us it's plenty big, and it uses less fuel than the 22.

There is a 14.5 (does that sound correct) WSM on my Craigslist for $100.00 new in the box right now.

That's half off retail, good deal. It's pretty tiny though, would be frustrating for normal use. Good for camping though.

On another Weber note, I just left my local Lowes and they had all the Kettles marked down for any one needing a grill.

No pictures for you guys but I smoked some beef short ribs that I've had laying around in my freezer today. I've never smoked beef short ribs before but damn they are good! Hit them with some SPOG first and did the 3-2-1 method finishing off in my oven since it was snowing outside today.

If they didn't cost so much here. I've cooked them twice at around $9/lb.

I ended up not doing it, I checked the hopper when I put the thermal blanket on it and the pellets where too low for me to risk it. So I got up early and put it on then once the store opened I went out and got pellets (not my normal brand but it worked). I can't believe I remembered everything BUT the pellets...

Ended up coming out really well, I did the pulled pork and two giant sirloin roasts (those went on later) and out of all that meat 40 or so pounds we ended up with a bout 1/2 of a bag of pulled pork and half a bag of sliced roast left at the end of the night. We had some family over last night and now we are down to very little of any of the meats left lol.

That's what stopped me from doing it. I didn't want to toss out half the meal with 20-30 people coming over.

I had one of the probes on my remote therm set to give me the smoker temps. At one point all the sudden the probe started showing like 350-375-400 and I was like WTH. I knew something had to be up.

So I go outside open up the lid and realized I am just an idiot. When I wrapped some foil on one of the pieces of meat I guess I got the foil RIGHT next to/on the probe and it was majorly screwing with it's temps. Moved the probe to a new area and problem solved.

I sadly didn't take any, it was a RUSH weekend for me. I had planned to but then the wife realized we had a bunch of stuff we needed to get for the party so OUT we went. I can take some pics of the leftovers (what little there is lol).

Ya man not sure I could toss out $100 in beef either. Was telling my friend we need to get to hacking the pellet pooper so I can monitor and control of WiFi. Would also like to rig a way to tell how much is left in the hopper but not sure how to go about that one.
