Order online? I know TW sometimes has tire deals I can't remember right now but I think it was something crazy like $100 off for every 2 you buy or something? If I find out I'll let you know. Otherwise just get some chains? lol I don't know.

Discount Tire Direct has 4 Cooper AT3s for $120 per. Unless I find them cheaper local, I'll get em from there. They had $100 off for spending $400 or buying 4 tires. Ended in Nov.
The shop my company takes fleet vehicles to, carries Cooper and recommends them. Need to check pricing. But yeah, any deals are appreciated.

Ya. My boss has the bombest hook up for tires so it's pointless or me to go through anybody else. $120 a tire is hella cheap! Ended up spending twice that for ours. But then again they're bf Goodrich, and huge.

Anything too aggressive of a tread is noisy as hell here! Must be different pavement blend?
I've never heard any vehicle drive by with KO, MT, or similar that weren't making a roaring droning sound. Talked to several people with AC trucks that have the AT3 tire and they're fairly quiet. The AC trucks aren't exactly quiet cabs anyway lol. I can't stomach or afford tires over $150 per that would be loud on the road.

It's a low growl. Can't hear it with the windows up. I really like the sound actually. To each their own I guess. Overall very happy with them. Ya, they are pretty expensive...

You know those "if your phone gets wet, you can dry it out in the microwave" style memes. There was one discussing saving money on snow tires.

Don't know if real or not, but the response and rant were good.

Just installed my XRS crossbar with stainless hardware and locking nuts and Allen head bolts. (Just like I did the standard bar)

    20161218_143803.jpg
    20161218_143819.jpg
    20161218_144157.jpg

This thing is sturdy as could be and I'm very happy with the deal I got on it. Came with 2 cleats so I have a total of 6 now (extra 2 are not installed right now)

My intended use for the second crossbar is for hauling the kayak around.

So for now on the budget I zip tied a couple pieces of foam that had formerly been packaging material.

    20161218_150526.jpg
    20161218_150534.jpg

Now all I need to do is put D-rings on the front bed bolts and my budget rack is good to go!!!

You know you can haul kayaks without fancy bars, right?
    I've had 5 in my bed once. 1 12', 1 13', 3 10' boats. But I've got a LB truck ;)
