    Hello! My first post here...

I have just spent an hour and a half on here and TN looking for info on how to replace the lights behind my climate control dials (fan speed, temp, and settings) for my 06 Tacoma PreRunner... I cant seem to find any info! Bulb/Part #s, How to remove the dials, etc... any help would be appreciated!!

The bulbs are replaced from behind. there are only two. From what I gather toyota does not have a part number for the bulb. I will look to see if i can find a replacement for you. I will look i think i have one working one laying around since i replaced mine with LEDs.

Seems there are a bunch of different sizes for the same type bulb. I will have to find mine and measure it before i can fine one.

What kind of LED's did you replace the bulbs with? Mine just burnt out, and would like to put some LED's in there instead.

I just thought i remember reading someone who was told by the dealer that they had to buy a whole unit. but, ya know. Its not like dealers don't tell lies.

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
The unit itself pops off with a gentle pry from a putty knife.
there are two bulbs, both are colored a dull orange and have a slot for a screwdriver.
A half turn and the come out and I tried like hell to xref them at NAPA only to go to dealer and pay $9 each.
    Sux but works.
Do not attempt to take the unit apart like I did before learning they come out with a screwdriver.
    Search for pics.

thanks but I do know how to change lights and open up unit already. What I want to know is if a certain LED bulb will work in unit. I have a control unit with one blue led and the other one doesn't work. I bought the unit from a member here on TW and I was just curious if a certain bulb would work in my unit.
