My day just got a lot better. Came home this fine winter day from taking the Toyota for a drive to the fishing hole to a pot of green chili chicken stew on the stove. Wife says "it'll be ready in 30 mins, let's sit in the hot tub."

Gettin a sundurn while my legs burn..Oh Go Broncos!!

I'm trying to decide between that or the add-on for my older vehicles home link.

Tacoma (2012) has homelink on the mirror and it's working fine.
Wife's 2008 Sienna has homelink on the overhead console and it won't work. I knew this from research prior to buying but I tried it anyway. Apparently, it's an older homelink or something and I could buy an adapter to make it work.
I put the app on her phone and just told her to use that. Threw one of the openers in her glove box in case the power or Internet goes out.
That's another cool thing about this opener. It has a battery backup so you can still open the garage door if power goes out. Of course, with the power out, the phone app wouldn't work because the internet would be down.

Yeah, the battery backup is a cool feature. Did you get a standard opener or a side pull?

I replaced my mom's garage door last Christmas with a Genie unit. she had a craftsman prior on both doors. we spent a good bit of the holiday driving around hitting all three buttons to see which neighbors had the same brands. most people had a craftsman garage door opener.

Today I went up to FoCO to plan a maze district trip for this spring. Zwei brewing had a delicious Dunkel and I'm about decided I want to move up that way. Denver has become more hassle than its worth. school and lease end in May, I need to start looking

A lot of garages get opened without any signs of forced entry... And it's probably one way, as you can see, you don't need much, is quick and quiet.

I messed up the link at first. It's fixed now. Apple is still a virus.

What's funny is that most of today's houses, all you really need to do is rip off some of the vinyl siding with your bare hands and punch through the drywall and as long as
you're not too fat to fit between 16" on center studs, you could just walk into the side of someone's house.
This wouldn't even set off any contact alarms.
