I think I've done that route too, ive entered the forest in Naugatuck off hunters mountain Rd, went down the paved hill, and then the dirt road that runs along the rr tracks, is this the spot or did you find some thing else?

That paved hill is pretty sketchy when there's snow, I went up it in the winter last year but would be afraid to go downhill there

Last time I was down there was 1983 when I walked up that hill during pheasant season. Back in the day there was a sand pit along the river where people would go to shoot.

Also those power lines where my favorite place to put the smack down on some pheasants I truly miss that haven't gone in like 5-6 years sense we had to put our last dog at 17 real years not dogg years. German wiemiariners.... The best all around dogs a man could ask for we've owned 3 over my 27 year life span and I don't think I'll ever own anything else

Yeah last time I went, I also went in through the power lines and crossed to the southern side of the gorge. Went all the way down the mountain to cross the bridge and walked back up. It was one long day - still remember it like it was yesterday.

Not BP. 2 3/4 chambers, fluid steel barrels.
My smith said to take it easy on the old girl and shoot 2 1/2's.
polywad makes a shot shell called "Vintager". Low velocity, low recoil ,powder puff load designed for antiques.
