Make sure you smooth out your driveway with a snow shovel then after you're done spray down the driveway with your garden hose . make sure you get a lot of water on it

 

if the ice was coming wouldn't it have been better to leave the snow? i understand your winters a much more severe than ours are but i did that once and figurd out if i left the snow and let the ice land on it i could then plow the snow and the ice went with it

 

I like it but it's a different heat. You can ease the discomfort in peppers with a little (very little) citrus juice (lime or lemon). It's a balancing act. Cilantro is supposed to do the same but I don't really like it but I will chop a little into some of my foods just for the balance.

Normally yes however, the snow becomes like cement with the rain that was coming.so a flash freeze tonight made this decision. So warm weather today resulted in all this ice being relatively gone.
Trying to shovel gray snow requires a backhoe in some cases.you plan your attack.

our winters are different i guess so treated differently. sometimes we have worse than y'all do but not often. last years 39 inch snow and the bitter cold that followed for so long after was harsh. we were lucky it warmed for a couple of days after the storm to allow clearing before the cold set in

 

good evening everyone! started this morning sitting on the deck drinking coffee clear and 63 degrees, now raining and 37. Christmas shopping complete! We were also shopping for a new coffee maker ,however, no joy as of yet. Ready for spring!

 

Every storm is different. Timeframe and ability to be home.
This actually worked out great. Roof clear , drive clear, paths clear.
So now the freeze is coming. Just threw down some salt so I won't have to worry in the am.

i don't like the big freezes anymore the dam cold hurts my hands. the 2 buildings we work in have no a/c in summer and they're metal buildings so get pretty dam hot. the heat doesn't really work in the spray booth so you freeze your ass off in there and the body shop isn't a whole lot better. i'm so ready to move some where warmer i can't stand it

Found a sure fire way to tell you've got a 4cyl powered Tacoma Pre Runner .Drive down a street posted at 50 mph heading into 50 plus mph winds and try and keep at the posted speed limit !!

I just did so even on the fwy facing these strong winds and I could barely hold the posted speed limit and couldn't get the transmission from hunting gears . Even the Supercharger was under boost and I was barely moving

I got to take mine out today in the dirt looking at some work that needs to be done. That 6 cylinder and 4.10 gear was able to do everything I needed to do in 4H without any fancy footwork. It handled it better than my Wrangler, though it does have taller gears than the Tacoma.
