The most common symptom is with rolling hills, cruising speed (55-65), with the cruise control, when it downshifts to maintain speed and hangs on to 4th gear.

It was supposed to affect Tacomas built before April 1. But next time you go for service have them do the TSB (technical service bulletin). Also, most Tacomas come with low transmission fluid. Especially if you have the towing package. Have them check this. It may take some extra time because it has to be checked at a particular temperature. There is also an update for the radio.

I had the transmission TSB done at 5k, and the Rev1 done last week at 10k. Both times there was an improvement, more so with the revision.

What, other than a collision, would you have to tear the entire front end apart for?

Taking out my headlight housings for paint. Gotta tear apart the whole thing to get to them. Eh, wasn't too terrible.

One day the states with two tags will get their heads out of the sand and reduce it to one. Now that said they will keep the fee at the same price and will be calling it a cost reduction for the tax payer.

Thanks, he's alright :). I just wish he was a little easier on the interior of my brand new truck. One day in the back seat and the whole thing looks like a used lint roller.[/QUOTE]

When someone gets this installed can you show puctures of it, curious if the screen folds up out of the way and what it looks like open and closed. Does it automatically come on when veh starts? What software for viewing/format does it save in and loop cycles
    Really like the OEM style
    Thanks
