    Second morning to all ,

Yeah I think I over did it a bit yesterday, the tire rotation probably wasn't the brightest idea but it needed to be done. I was not dead lifting them just popped them off rolled them over rested the arms on the knees and lifted with the legs .

:) Hiya Chuck. Sorry about the delay here. That post was made right before my eyelids got too heavy and I faded out for my first nap of the night. You're likely asleep yourself now, unless those Santa Anas are shaking the house too much.

I've been working night shifts for 7 yrs now. My sleep pattern is kinda whacky and comes in a series of 2-4 hour naps.

    Good Morning Chris

It's actually pretty warm here; if Weather Underground is telling the truth, I've got 20°F and the wind has died. Looks forecasted to be about like that all day. Might get those lights up yet; if it doesn't happen today, it likely won't. This is out second Christmas without the grandkids here; they were my main motivation for getting the lights up. But enough of that, ya'll will start to believe I'm actually grumpy.

Well, I just had to skip to current. Good morning all! I'm late to the party, so here's my go to cup. MIL gave it to me when my son was born 22.5 years ago. Little did I know then that it would be true again 18 years later.

I don't know, using that shoulder like a lever seems absolutely brilliant. should really expedite the healing process. :smack:

What kind of damn tactics is this? I'm busy smacking you around and you go being all feely huggy.

I worked all kinds of shift work the better part of 26 yrs active duty. This short sleep cycle started years ago in highschool when I went to work 30 to 40 hours a week at 16yo. Used to get home around 11PM, be too tired to do homework, so I'd get back up 2-3 hrs early (3-5AM) to do it ... And start all over again. When on shift in Winter, I nap in the morning, then get up when it's daylight, and nap again before work, else I wouldn't see daylight all week. I got it pretty good and I'm used to it. ;)

Nurse or not, she's obviously the brains of the team, you'd be wise to listen a little. ;)

Lol what ever works btw the smart ass GF didn't mention that I pulled her old battery and put a new battery in her vue before I did the oil / air and tire rotation on my truck : } Nor the day before when I pulled all the curtains in the house down washed them did the windows put a new splash pan on etc lol I do not sit still very well most of the time I post here from my phone or tablet or a pc in one of the shops . I hear you on the schedule when I got back from the sand box I would sleep 4 hours and be done for the day took over a year to get to 5 or 6 . I do envy some folks ie the GF who can sleep for 12 hours though with a nurse schedule I can understand it she is up at 5 to work by 7 out of work 7 to 8 home by 9 and eat and pass out.

It wasn't planned, lol! My snip didn't work. I wouldn't change a thing now, though! She's a lot of joy.
