Hahaha was giving ya a hard time. I do wish toyota would bring a diesel to the US but due to emmisions dont see it happening for awhile.

That would be sick. May have to trade for the ZR2. Front and rear lockers with diesel and better approach angles!

And if you got one might as well drop 15k the day you drive it off the lot. Tacoma has the highest resale values of midsize trucks

Ya, they should give us at least a little bit more of a truck tire than whats stock.

I had C-rated LT Duratracs on my 2nd Gen for over 50k miles and thought they were an awesome tire. Only reason I didn't get a second set when the first set wore out was because they became very noisy as they wore down. After the Duratracs I went with a set of Cooper A/TWs which have been pretty good but are wearing down very fast.

I was out on a hunting trip this weekend on Indian Reservation back country..it was raining pretty good and the top 3 inches of soil become slick as snot with clay-like mud. Two trucks with our group had brand new KO2s and I have the OEM goodyear Kevlar. The Ko2 equipped trucks were slipping and sliding every bit as badly as my truck if not worse. I've completely ruled out the ko2 now ...if I hadn't already. There was literally no discernable improvement in the mud from the KO2 vs the stock GYs

The Duratacs are more of a mud tire than the KO2's. That's why they're better in snow/slick conditions. I think the KO2 strong point is really only rock/dirt.

Yeah and when you need traction the most (mud and snow) is where you really can benefit from the duratrac.

Have '17 TRD OR DblCab Lb with stock Wrangler kev ATs 265/70R16 on stock alloys. Any experience or problems going to a studded LT265/75R16 Duratracs?
I spend equal amounts of time driving through freezing on the way west into Portland and heavy snow on the way south up the mountain in the winter.

Got rid of my studded subby setup that ripped through anything.

    Thoughts?
