But just blew a bunch of loot on the house and truck this month :anonymous:

I love my 45qt, but I wish I would have done the bigger one, because once you put ice and food in it, there is not much room left. So thankfully I have a pretty good soft side cooler that I can put drinks and stuff in.

One thing I am going to do is get some ice blocks that I can freeze and use in there instead of ice to save room.

I won a 60 quart Yeti cooler last summer! On our last trip to Black Mountain, I packed ice in it on a Thursday and had ice the following Monday with about a quart of water from ice melt. I was very impressed. That said, I still didn't like using up so much space inside with ice. I decided to get the ice blocks (from Yeti).....Until I saw how much they cost! They are right proud of their products....

It'd be a dedicated food and water cooler. I have another 60qt strictly for beer. Usually I run two coolers for camping unless it's just an overnighter

Yeah you can get the same thing at the dollar store... ice packs lol I use them to pre-cool my cooler before use. and use a very small amount of ice.

Those coolers are nice and all. But they're heavy even empty. Never had the pleasure of picking one up full of beer and ice.

They are heavy....But the one thing that I figured out real quick about 'em, they'll stay where ever you put them. I have a feeling you could stick it to the side of the truck and it wouldn't move! They have rubber feet that grip on just about any surface. But yeah, fill it with beer and ice and it takes 2 people to lift it.
