Thanks so much for this video! I plan on doing this for my LED bar and my ditch lights. I'm still a little concerned with the add a circuit. Where does it go in the fuse block? Will I need two separate add a circuits for led bar and ditch lights?

It just plugs into the empty spot. And no you can use both on one.. that's how mine is in the video. It doesn't pull near the amount to worry about.

Just got my light, probably going to install it and then update me switch when it gets here. Question though, will I be able to turn the light on if the truck is off or will the truck have to be in ACC?

If you are using the supplied wiring harness, the power is directly off the battery (relay). The ACC will just be needed to light up your switch if you have a push button/rocker switch.

Do you need to torque the bolts back down to crash bars after the install of the brackets or just tightened them real tight? If so does anyone know what the ft/lbs need to be?

The technical answer is torque everything to spec...

You don't need any of the hardware that comes with the LED. Just the stuff with the instructions

UPS brought my CaliRaised 5D light bar today, i had to take it out of box and drool over it a bit ... looks to be a quality built light bar. Won't be installing till spring time when the weather warms up as i don't have a heated garage and its bitter cold here now
Only one question about the light bar, all you use to attach it to Apex brackets are the Apex provided allen head bolts, washer & lock washer? Just wondering why both ends of light bar look like something would screw in and lock in those grooves? Trying to show below ... sorry for bad pic

The generic mounys have matching marks that help with it twisting. It's an easy thing to add to the design of a cast part like the generic mounts or LED caps. They do a good secondary on my mounts, creating a good course surface to hold the LED in place along with the two Allen bolts. I have never had one rotate on me that was tightened down properly.

Hi everyone, I have a quick question regarding the wiring for my bar. I already have one small bar mounted in my hood scoop, is it safe to splice my new 5D bar into my existing harness from my current light? I was thinking of splicing into the harness downstream of the relay and fuse close to the the light so both operate on the same switch. Should I have any concerns???

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
You should calculate the current draw, and fuse it properly.

I wouldn't do it if your existing harness isn't rated for a lot of power. The new 5Ds are powerful and use all the harnesses have to offer. Small LED and some pods yes. But two LEDs, just use two harnesses.

You can though if includes, wire it so that you use one switch as all the power is on the other side of the relay.
