Yea I've got this intermittent vibration type noise that is quiet and comes and goes when it wants. Does it in 4 wheel, 2 wheel, at steady rpm and when braking literally have given up trying to find it lol. Can't hear it unless music is off as well as the ac and it's not constant just sometimes. I spent a morning this past weekend checking torque on everything under the truck and on all suspension parts. I'm thinking maybe it was there before the skids but now with the skids I can just hear it

 

Walk around. Boeing Museum. The bus works pretty well for getting around. A sunset flight seeing tour is pretty sweet too.

Went by the scene of that fatal accident by my house. Except for Caltrans and a couple of officers, it was in the cleanup stage. They say the woman was walking against a red light when traffic started to slam on the brakes. Guy in a truck swerved to avoid a collision and struck the woman knocking her across the intersection-they said she was older-anyway, she almost made the sidewalk. The PIO said she was struck at nearly 50 (which is the limit).

 

Ouch.

Anyone have any recommendations for replacement CVs?
Not really trying to spend crazy money on OEM if there is another decent option

 

I buy oem used on ebay $60 - $80 and tear them apart and rebuilt them with new boots and grease. That's what I did for @stroM- and myself.

 

someone bought me the oem replacement that wasn't really oem once. I ripped through them in two months and they warrantee'd them.

Long story short, I only buy actual toyota CV's, and I have a new in plastic not quite OEM for sale
