I got a burton custom Flying V. I know, most common board ever, but I demoed one last year and really liked it. My old board is 8 years old so it was time for a change. I demoed a gnu as well and really liked it!

 

Looking forward to boarding with you guys, is Lindsay fast? Michelle is nervous because she's a bit slow

 

Thank god!!! haha. Lindsay has gotten pretty good over the last few years with me, but she's not super fast yet. I would say like an average/medium speed depending on the run (moguls and such). I still wait for her every now and then down the run.

She was super nervous that Michelle was too fast. Should be a good vibe.

If you haven't been to the Saline Valley hot springs, you should check them out. It was a bit crowded on NYE, but a great time with great people.

My Dakars are starting to sag, time to look into something sturdier...

 

Also trying to learn to take night shots like @inv3ctiv3 , think I'm getting worse haha

 

Curious to see what rear springs you run. My dakars with overload don't like the weight I'm running. With a added tent and awning it's going to be hurting.

d29xl in, thought I heard somewhere that it reduces the downtravel - I'd love to hear your feedback after you add it seeing as we have about the same amount of weight back there. How do you like the kings?

 

I just read up on the AP Expos, and am going to call Deaver to see what their prices are like - have a feeling they're going to be pricey. As much as I like the idea of a custom leaf pack, I feel like an off-the-shelf pack would work fine

 

I know a while back someone did a group buy for custom packs that handle the weight for expo type stuff. Think it was through deaver.

Regardless I'm going to stay posted to see what you come up with as starting to have the same issue.
