FBI called and left a VM late Friday regarding this @mahaloTaco Internet fraud.

I tried to call back this AM but could't reach. I'll try again later.

Yeah, I thought my Internet fraud complaint got lost in a deep dark hole. But apparently, someone in the FBI took notice. Probably there were more than just me that filed a complaint, which gave it more credibility.

This was IRS related but many years ago the league I play in and now run was investigated by the IRS.

I was investigated by the IRS 18 years ago. That was painful.

My tax guy filed shit incorrectly. New tax guy that covered me during the audit took care of stuff.

F'king IRS owed me money afterwards.

    Fired the old tax guy.

I just had first physical look at my new Brute Force high clearance rear bumper. When I get that and the snorkel installed it'll be a whole new truck! All the 2016 mods seem to be waiting for 2017..

This was very painful..while I wasn't running it at the time I heard quite a few stories. This was more than just one goof that was easily fixed though..

I haven't seen anything posted from the OP, so I'm wondering if I should just ask PayPal to process a refund? Having a verified account means PayPal can get into the account listed to get their money back. If the account is fraudulent, the big guys get involved very fast. Bankers don't like betting stiffed by small fry. In the scheme of things via the business community, $23,000.00 is small change. However, when someone gets involved with Internet fraud, two cents is the boundary. According to PayPal, we have 180 days to request a refund.

Pages back I saw where some refunds had been sent out, there were cancellations, and supposedly I was listed as being given a refund. PayPal has seen nothing coming in to my former business account.

Here is something to think about. If you miss payments on a vehicle, a repo man will come get your vehicle. I happen to know a repo man, and he has business connections in California. I am wondering if he'll use that connection to repossess Max Mchealy's Taco's for a business deal that has gone south. If the Taco's listed in his ad for the group buy are actually his, then they can be repossessed. Of course, if they aren't, then he has opened himself up to a far greater fraud case.

Max has not posted that the black taco has been sold, or traded in.

When you post a picture on the Internet it stays forever. I suggest Copyright infringement could now be possible IF those Taco's are not his. That's the big times when it comes to business fraud.

Of course those Taco's won't be valued very high according to the blue book. They have been modified after all. According to the blue book, those trucks would not have the value to cover a 23 thousand plus business debt.

Summary - we are screwed guys. Even if the FBI got involved we won't see any refunds. We aren't bankers.

I'm asking either maholo taco or tcbob to post an update. People are guessing left and right, and that's like peeing into the wind.
