Pretty calm last night, but all today it was storming and blowing pretty hard.

So I just took my dad's brand new 2017 with only 250 miles on it for a spin, and man it sure is mild. I really didn't like the transmission, or the engine. Maybe it's because my 2nd gen is a 6 speed and I can't really compare them, but it really seemed gutless.

That was one of the main reasons why I'd still choose Manual Trans over Auto, test drove an Auto and hated the shifting lag or having to stomp on the gas to "giddy up".

I don't remember the brand, it's 8 lights total. 6 are on the truck, 2 never installed and still new. I'll let you know once I get the truck back.

Thanks man! No clue how long this process is going to take. But I'm excited to get started on my build. Can't just wait at home and do nothing.
Even if I only have one working eye ;-) measure twice right? Lol
Going to see one more doctor tomorrow before they tell me what's going on.

You'd definitely make a bit $ if you buy it back. Insurance (which I think will most likely Total it due to Frame Damage). You can always just buy it back for a fraction of what is worth, part out whatever is worth some $... And if time/funds/space allow (or you even want to deal with it) you could always get it back up and running as it seems its just rear end suspension/driveline, and then sell it (craigslist shows some with Rebuilt title ones for over $20k)...

I guess it'd all really depend on what insurance wants for it, and if you want to even deal with it as it'd be a Project on its own... *shrugs*
