I am now probably the only off road owner with a front air dam. I will be doing a lot of highway miles for a while. If I go off-road I will just take it off.

Just ordered my Tacoma Bed Mat.. I'm sick of stuff sliding around there.. Plus, I called A&K Truck stuff in Green Bay to get a price on a Leer XL cap with rug lining and a removable front window.. 1900 plus tax.. Hmmmm... I think I need that.:santa:

Yes, especially when you use the accessory power wire. But if you use a constant power, then it will be on all the time.

The micro SD card will act like a hard drive for you to download the MP4 video files. You can pull the card out or access the card thru a USB cable.

There are 10min video files that get created till your spacer is full. Then the oldest video get over written and goes from there. If the device gets trigger, either by pushing a button or a hard bump, then that 10min video gets stored in a protected folder (which you can download at a later time).

If you do you have to remove the passenger side extraction hook (two 17mm bolts).

Other than that if you get one without hardware I can tell you what to get at Ace that's much cheaper than Toyota.

In the future I may look into trimming it so the extraction hook fits but I may want something better anyway.

The air dams do look terrible, but if I came across a free one I would considered it for the winter months since my MPGs are pretty garbage.

What did you rehear to? Also, how much did it cost? Could it hurt the truck/ void any warranties?

With the 3" leveling kit I have no rubbing at all. Gas mileage plummeted though with the 285's. Down to 17 mpg and under.

    TRDJEREMY,

Truck looks great. I have an A.R.E. Z Series on the way and can't wait. Quick couple of questions.... Love the stance of your truck and I'm currently looking at different options for suspension upgrade/ lift.

When you say "set at 2 inches" which notch are you referring to exactly? Also, do you have a 4x4 or 4x2? I think that makes a difference.

Did you notice any major change in your trucks ride caused by 5100's?

Any major changes to the rear suspensions "feel" or ride overall by adding the Wheeler's 1.5 inch AAL?

Did you need wheel spacers for those tires on stock wheels, and/or are you rubbing at all?

Would you recommend this set up?

Sorry to fire off so many questions, but appreciate you sharing your specs!

haha that was an easy assumption, wasn't sure if different models (sr vs. trd or for example) did or didnt have it.
