Okay, so i wrecked my taco, great, now insurance may try to total it.... bummer.... if they do, im not totaling it. too good of a truck with only 198k on it. Plus, i don't want to have to find another one.

If they do try to total it, I'll drive it like it sits right now since it is still drive-able and will try to piece it back together like new.

BUT, if they don't total it, i will be getting insurance money, which i will spend on getting a replacement bumper rather than a flimsy stock.

    Any recommendations?? pics please!

Trail Gear Low Profile is a good option at around $500. Took me about 2ish hours to remove stock bumper and install it. You'll have to relocate your turn signals, but I moved mine to my corner lights and honestly should have done that a long time ago. That also only took an hour or two

I plan on adding their light hoop at some point in the near future

    IMG_6060.jpg
Just installed, hence the ziptied license plate and stock turn signals

    Painted and turn signals relocated.

Yes I went with the factory powder coat option. I'm very happy with the quality of it!

@RelentlessFab makes gorgeous plate bumpers. Sometimes I'd rather look at those than naked ladies.

    ...we'll get there.
I just bought an all-pro tube bumper...But it has been cold so it's sitting in the basement till I can be sure I won't freeze installing it

Relentless ftw! Ordered my stealth flat top 5 weeks ago today. Seems like it's been forever. Can't freaking wait. THE best looking imo. Gonna see about some custom light cutouts in it too. Probly have another month, Maybe two, before she arrives. Ugh.. Will Probly order up the matching rear before too long. Anyone know if they run any deals other than on black Friday?

2.5 lift, the usual that goes with it. Work in progress.

ARB front bumper, Old Man Emu suspension, on board air compressor, on board hot water converter, cb radio, safari snorkel, warn 8K lb. winch, AP rock slidders/rear bumper, gray wire mod
+1 for arb. A little on the heavy side but good solid bumpers to mount a winch and for animal and vehicle impact. Also the airbags are not effecte during assembly. And built in mounting points for a hi lift and additional mounts for jacking up the front end with the hi lift.

I didn't put my front plate back on either. I got a few sheet metal screws to attach my license plate on my rear TG bumper. I live in CA and to my surprise, haven't been messed with for no front plate.
