You live in MA. so you are a Patriots fan, that makes sense. I like Dallas fans who live in Texas or are from nearby states which have no NFL franchise. That said, the pseudo Dallas fans who are native to Pa, NY, ILL, CA ... I don't recognise nor do the majority of home team fans. These are people who are allumni of Michigan and root for Ohio St.

Broncos since 1973, more Super Bowl appearances than losing seasons

Dominance... just not this year, I have given up

I see your point, but even at that there's a fan and a pinkhat even in the state the team is from. 30 yrs ago you could walk up and buy good seats to a Pats game, the season ticket waitlist now is 10 yrs long or so.

Not so much now but I am a Denver Broncos fan as well..mainly that I liked John Elway.

See, and I remember the Patriots of the 90's, where we only made the playoffs 4 times and got clobbered in the Superbowl by Favre & the Packers. That's what has made the last two decades so satisfying. Growing up, watching the Patriots lose was typical for game day. Now, I can look back on these winning seasons fondly in a few years when Brady and Belichick retire and I have to go back to watching them lose all the time.

hopefully bell will get caught with dope again and get kicked out of the playoffs so if the Chiefs make it and face the steelers he won't run all over them.

This is true... I've been spoiled and the newer Patriot fans have been spoiled too. It makes your expectations higher and all of the sudden not making the playoffs seems like the end of the world. Although, that year with McDaniels hurt pretty bad and I can still remember it well but one thing about the Broncos is they always seem to bounce back quickly. I think that's a testament to Pat Bowlen which scares me about one of his idiot sons taking over.

Definitely good to see some new meat in the playoffs... I just wish it wasn't the Raiders

I'd rather see any of those teams in the playoffs over the Raiders... It's just how I was raised as a Bronco fan. Although, it's good for the AFC west that they're relevant again... sparks up that rivalry.

You don't have to live or be born in a particular state to be a fan. I have been a fan of the Cowboys since 1972 when I was 4 years old, and living in Virginia. Air Force kid so we moved all over.

I don't hate the Cowboys (actually I secretly like them) much as I despise Jerry Jones for how he dealt with Tom Landry...and then Jimmy Johnson.

You don't don't men like that THAT way. Totally classless.

Tom was FIRED. Not "publicly celebrated in retirement" - fired.

You don't fire a coach like Tom Landry. You talk to him privately and make a public spectacle of his retirement.

Jimmy was treated like shit for building a winning team because Jerry wanted to be the "manager."

Or the 1980s when you never knew if you'd see them unless you went, since they weren't on TV if it wasn't a sellout

Jerry made himself manager and kept trying to make coaching decisions. Jimmy got to the point he'd had enough. He built a Super Bowl winning team that was so good any loser could win with them...and the next loser (Barry Switzer) did. Then they kind of just devolved from there.
