No way am I denying your claim but when the manufacturer calls for 29 and the dealership sets them at 42, yes 42, there's no way that much pressure won't affect ride quality and it's the easiest to check first.

Damn things will roll easy @42 psi though, not to mention the good gas mileage.

Bumpy ass on ramps with a little mist on 'em merging into 75 MPH traffic was a bit hairy at times though.

I think thats where most of your "bump feel" is coming from. If you are not use to mid size. Its different. Much different.

My Full size truck drove smoother felt more refined. The tacoma has a narrow short wheelbase which also stiffens the ride

I really enjoy mine. I do miss some things about my Sierra. Interior room, mpgs, heated steering, etc. But living in a city, parking and driving the tacoma is easier.

I originally started with a Canyon. It was a nice truck, but the brakes kept squeaking. Several trips to the dealer about it, ended in me going full size. Then an uninsured motorist caused me to trade in towards a prius/tacoma.

I like certain things about each truck. If i could combine them all that would be great. Lol

I teach for Tulsa Tech. Have family in Bartlesville!

funny. I had a 15 tundra and I go to Tulsa daily to work then wife and I go every weekend both days and as you know many streets are narrow and it is tight including parking. I then got 16 Tacoma crew sport 4x4 and coundnt get comfortable in set but now think I didn't give time to adjust to it being different and no power. I now got diesel Colorado because one thing on Tacoma I found out is I liked the size more than full size for us. We don't need big truck. As you say plusses each way but mid sized for us is biggest plus. And I can park in garage. I got my Colorado in March and it now has 26k n it and planning going back to Tacoma and giving seats much more time. My truck has been great with exception of a few new rattles that I am chasing but they are not constant so hard to locate. I see you have the blue which is nice color. Hard to find that color.

Not sure if I got lucky or what, but they (jim norton) had just got 20 tacomas in the week I bought mine. This was the only BBP one they had.

One thing I noticed in comparing the canyon and tacoma. I can see much easier out of the Taco. For some reason I had so many blind spots in the Canyon.

I honestly think its personal preference on seat confort. The canyon hurt me on long trips.

My SR's suspension has really softened up over the off-road miles. Now all I need are front shocks with a ton more rebound dampening...

I must be the only one who though the Sport rode waaaaay too soft. The Offroad was better but still too soft for my tastes

This particular one I went over bumps and the front end continued to bounce for a while. Almost did feel like it had bad shocks, so could be a possibility.

Switched from sport shocks to off-road springs and shocks never looking back way better lowered tire pressure a bit and rides like a dream also have a long bed so it's a bit smoother than a shorty
