Hey guys, I'm finally off of turnaround, my first free weekend past the Holidays is January 7th. I'll be heading to Hollister Hills SVRA for some camping. Haven't yet decided if I'm gonna go Friday and stay for 2 nights, or just go early Saturday morning, depends on who all wants to go 2 nights or who can only make it either night.

Will be staying at the Sycamore Campground in the Upper Ranch section. There's a great start point right next to the campground for those that want to jump right in to the fun stuff, which I like to do. Camping is 10$ a night or 5$ for a day pass. Or maybe that's Pismo beach. I dunno, but its under $20 if you wanna come for 2 days.

I'll definitely be doing a trail run at some point on Saturday, hopefully our campground is available and I'll set up a tent or something to mark our spot.

    Cheers!

Of course! When has drill weekend not fallen on a fun weekend? Could be worse, I was in Louisiana National Guard, Ft Polk sucks! We drilled every Mardi Gras, Super Bowl, Homecoming... if it wasn't a national holiday , we drilled. Was supposed to keep us out of trouble.

Thanks for the offer but, mostly I need to do the valve covers and get all my lift parts here/ready to install. Should be able to get it done by then granted all the parts arrive. It's going to be a slow process as I usually only work on my truck for an hour or so each night after the kids are asleep.

Ok so pending wifely approval, the tentative plan is leave around Fairfield around noon on Friday to get there early, set up camp, maybe climb up the hill a hair, then when it starts getting dark, eat and drink and drink and probably drink. If we're still alive in the morning/whenever we wake up as humans again we do breakfast and showers and w/e and then trail run all day. After that, probably make a trip to Safeway to stock up on more firewood and shenanigans and then repeat Friday evening. Sunday will be the same as Satursay except I'll probably be heading out around noon or so.

Spread the word, the more people coming on Friday, the more tents Ill set up to hold spots for everyone.

If you're planning on bailing, please just tell us now, I dislike when people just straight up dont show up or bail the day of.

If you're bringing your chef kitchen, I'm bringing real cheese and steak to make quesadillas with. Not that chicken in a bag crap you had last time.

Yeah Ill bring my small tent along to pitch up to the left of the bathrooms if no ones there. I like our usual spot, but it gets a little crowded with more than 4 trucks lol

If you're staying all 3 days then I won't bring my grills either. They just get in the way. Ill fill up your propane tank though if it runs out.

yeah no I'm going to bring real food this time
I was on a budget last time

but i will be there for the whole time and I will bring a full tank of propane

and everyone going is welcome to use the griddle my only requirement is clean it off when done and make sure propane is off when done

and that usual spot gets crowded pretty quick I actually like the spot to the left of the bathroom a lot better because the fire pit is way bigger which is good for a bigger grip and you can get a bunch of trucks in there leveled out (for RTTs?

    @Overlanerd you in on this?
@EDDO you in? maybe a day trip since you don't camp
@Tee Arghhhhhh Dee you and @batshitcrazy should join the festivities

@VolcomTacoma you are bringing gunner right? I'm not sure if ill bring malcolm or not...
im assuming you aren't bringing Jameson (the kid not the drink i know the drink is probably on the invite list?
