31 degrees outside I have the hvac to floor and windshield defrost and the air conditioning is cycling on and off. I thought the newer toyotas have temperature sensors for air conditioning that will turn the a/c off at certain Temps? A/c switch is off. Or am I just wrong?

When set to defrost the AC is supposed to cycle to remove cabin moisture. If you set back to dash vents the AC compressor will stop cycling.
