I have a "Jam Thrill". I bought it at Bed Bath and Beyond a year and a half ago. It was $50 and I used one of their million 25% off coupons. I figured I'd use it for a few months while I searched better ones. Still works great and haven't thought of getting a different one. I'm not picky at all when it comes to quality though.

I am thinking about picking up a Google Home in a few months. If I do, that will become my bluetooth speakers.

 

Morning all. My opinion for a portable speaker is the Bose soundlink mini speaker. I bought one over 2 years ago and works like a champ. Little pricey, think around 200 but sometimes the outlet store in Wrentham has deals on them. That's where I got mine. Not a big speaker guy but Bose always gets my preference.

 

x2 on the Bose, I got the Soundlink II last year for around $120. give or take.

 

Howdy, faces. This is going to be the longest 3 day week in history, I think. Crazy busy and down at least two people all week because my supervisor can't manage a schedule to save his life.

 

Saw -5 this morning and we still have snow on the ground. It seems we've got somewhat of a real winter again!

Yeah, well... 90's kid. I was doomed to have bad taste in music from the start, lol.
Lithium is my typical station when I'm not listening to NPR.

But, in my defense, the song beforehand was More Human Than Human by White Zombie and the song after was Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam.

 

I almost exclusively listen to lithium too...

Can't stand most current music

 

After owning a few Bose products I am kinda anti-Bose. Overpriced if you ask me. My very expensive noise cancelling headphones failed in a year (loose contact, poorly soldered) and my Soundlink Speaker, which was not Bluetooth, the input wire needs wiggling to get it to work and the ipod dock failed way too early. Cheap construction if you ask me. I just recently replaced the Soundlink speaker with one of the JBL Flip waterproof speakers. They make them in like 3 different price ranges. So far so good, but it's been like 3 months. In all fairness I beat the crap out of the Soundlink, but the headphones were babied and they still failed.

 

Alt Nation is usually the #2 option, but they play a lot of the new pop-y stuff so I usually don't stay there very long unless the GF is in the car, because she likes the newer stuff better.

 

Fuck... I went to Spin Doctors concert at UNH many years ago! LOL

Don't really listen to anything else.

Kind of what I was thinking as well. I'm assuming we're on the same page as to which of the 3 is actually decent.

 

Usually I listen to Social Distortion radio on Google play( Bad Religion.Bouncing Souls etc.) or my ipod, when the wife in the truck I tolerate Country it all sounds exactly the same to me! Really hard to tolerate!
