There is also this option as well: https://www.zoro.com/te-co-t-nut-black-oxide-38-16-916-41406/i/G1777921/. This was a popular choice in the 2nd gen forum for mounting items to the rails.

If you're Canadian, keep searching because either the company won't ship up north or the cost per each is too expensive to even bother. I'd like to be proven wrong because I could definitely use this on my truck.

This thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bed-rails-attachments.114001/ has a bit more information on what options are available, and even indicates what is available in Canada.

@gursky Is it expensive to mail something from one of us to you? These were a big help with getting stuff mounted and you could paypal me a few bucks to cover the cost of the items and I could snail mail them your way.

Wow, that would be a huge help, thank you! Personal shipping through USPS shouldn't be too expensive, assuming these t-nuts aren't too heavy. I would expect them to fit in a padded envelope without issue.

I will continue to look at options and see what would work, but I'll send you a PM too to discuss further.

I bought mine from Fastenal back when I first got my '11. they are perfect. Not as easy to steal as the OEM tie downs.

    Just a FYI...
Those sit tall and require removing bed rail screws to slide them in passed said screws.
They also teeter out if you try using them on a section of rail with the position notches.

Good info. I do have to remove bed caps to get them in.

I haven't gotten then by the position notches but good to know.
