I guess I'd just have to pull the grill off again to get acces to the top part of the bumper? No need to actually remove the bumper?

No i don't think you would even need to remove the grille. There is quite a bit of room between the grille and the radiator support. If you absolutely had to remove the bumper to put the light it, its really not that hard to do. The bumper could be removed in an hour pretty easily.

There is a link to the write up on our website under the "Instructions" tab, but for quick reference, here it is: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...pro-winch-bumper-install-instructions.457125/

So far we have only sold a few. I dont think they are members of this forum either. We have a few pics on our website from a customer of one of them installed.

    Thanks bud.

I've been eyeing it for its simplicity.

Might pull the trigger soon and be the first on the forum with it :D

Yea, there certainly seems like plenty of room there. Might just be more convenient to pull the grill to have access.

In any case......gonna start the install...

Great looking bumper! Love the clean look

Have you tried one of our Cascadia 4x4 Flipster V2's? We have several customers mounting them upside down and it works great. From the looks of your pictures I think the Flipster might work great for your application. Let me know if you have any questions.
A couple pics of it mounted upside down for reference:

I have seen the flipster mounts as well, those may be a good option!

    Almost done......

    few things:

I got 2 drivers side relocation brackets instead of a passenger side one. It seemed to work but not sure thats how it should be.

No way a light bar is getting in there after the bumper is installed. There are some support brackets that are in the way. Shouldn't be too hard to pull the bumper when I get the light though.

I'm sorry about the relocation brackets, that's our mistake, we obviously put two driver side brackets in the box. If you need the shorter passenger side bracket, let us know and we can send it out right away.
Yeah I wasn't sure if the light would go in afterwards, I figured it would be tight if it worked at all.

I have a 2017 DCSB 4X4 TRD Off Road------------Have installed a TRD Pro front skid plate. Will this bumper work with it? If not, what modifications would be required to that skid plate for this bumper to work? What Smittybilt or Warn Winches would work with this bumper? Thinking 10,000 pound pull, synthetic rope, aluminum fairlead.
