    It has an angled fore grip not a vertical, which would make it a SBR. The NFA is quite specific in it's wording of that.

    Whatcha y'all think -a used Smith & Wesson MP-15 Sport 5.56 for $450? Good deal?

    I've been eyeing the Sport 2 for a while and I believe the only difference between the Sport and Sport 2 is a dust cover and forward assist handle. Cheapest I've seen the Sport 2 is $650ish. Are the dust cap and forward assist worth an extra $200?

    Good deal! Buddy was asking $490 for a used Sport. Figured he'd come down to $450, seeing as how it's the original Sport and used... No luck. Doesn't make sense to spend $490 when I can get a new one for a little more.

    I bought my first pistol today o_O

    Been wanting one for a while but in NC you have to go to the sherrif's office and get a permit to purchase. I thought that the process was more cumbersome than it actually was. I filled out a few questions online, paid $5, but did have to drive to the office (about 30 min away) to pick up the actual permits (I got 2 so I wouldn't have to deal with it later if I wanted another gun)...

    ...anyway...

    Went to the gun shop today and played with a few. Looked at a few single stacks before I decided on the S&W Shield 9mm. I already love it. Feels so good in my hand :D

    Picked up that sweet Orca cooler too while I was there. Had it on a crazy deal for $129 for the 20qt. I had too...
