You can bypass it. But you cant park with it in gear

 

Just like a DVD player in dash. Can bypass it. Ill do that when i get to upgrading my stereo

 

I miss manual. Was fun when I drove @DOUBLLD truck

 

Yeah there are several situations where not parking in gear aren't a good idea, but its not the end of the world I can go outside and turn the key then get ready to leave. Especially if I'm already taking the dog out. So ehh, it's a want not a need.

Uniden Pro520XL. Its good for what it is. No scan function though

Some of us have been thinking about Canaan Loop Rd in Davis, WV. But someone else posted that the water levels were crazy high, so now we arent sure if we are going. Was going to be for Jan 7.

And big liability. There are a lot of people that walk their dogs or just go for walks in my neighborhood at 5:30am. If I hit the remote start and accidentally left it in gear, I might kill whatever happens to be in front of the truck. Also, if the e-brake fails, I'll be getting a knock on my door that my truck is sitting in the middle of the road

 

My remote start unlocks the truck and starts the truck. I can start it and hit the lock button to keep it locked. I have to put the key in and turn it to on (not all the way to start). If the brake is touched before the key is in, then the engine shuts off.

 

My 14 was like that....
