Stopped by the dealer this morning. Was told the tech would call me to confirm they could do the flash. Just need to have a little more patience.

I am thinking about getting a can but I need to figure out the mounting. It would probably be best to avoid low points in the lines so that all of the liquid accumulates in the can. Has anyone thought about this or observed any issues?

Dropped the truck off at the dealer. I was unable to uninstall the bd tune in time. I hope that's not a issue. Tech said they shouldn't have a problem.

Tech says it has the most current flash. But also says truck is running like crap inhigh rpms. Going to diagnose it and go from there.

Those symptoms sound pretty familiar. I feel your pain, brother! Same story from my dealer as well.

Well shit. Seems like it's luck of the draw if the BD tuner works or not... I plan on finally installing over the weekend and don't know if I should trust the BD tuner or not.

I think those with issues are still in the minority, and frequently have other mods going on (intakes, aftermarket pumps etc.) that may or may not be contributing to the issues.

    1) Follow the printed directions that come with the supercharger - NOT the quick-start guide with the tuner. Don't freak out if you don't have a supercharged truck choice in the tuner - some do some don't depending on build date.

    2) Install the tune FIRST and check that engine starts/runs OK.

    3) Then clear the ECU by disconnecting the battery and discharging horn or lights - you should have it disconnected when you're installing the SC anyway, and I found that it was easier to properly route the hoses for the intercooler by removing the battery and routing the hoses under the battery tray.

Don't be skeered - go for it  It'll probably be just fine, and if it isn't you have the experience of others here to get it sorted.

Not surprising at all. This is what happens when you go down the rabbit hole of multiple mods.

Science, bitches - change one parameter at a time!

Thanks, I'll be sure to remember your advice as I dive into it. I've got to come up with an alternate location for my coolant reservoir as well as look back earlier in the thread where there was a solution to mounting the intercooler pump in conjunction with a winch bumper, which I'm also installing this weekend. :headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang:

Just annoyed with it all. Keep it simple stupid. Everyone will have different issues.
Pissed that I've already cut the intake tube to make work with the supercharger. O fucking well. Move on.

If you've got something like a catch can or aftermarket fuse box in space where you're supposed to mount the coolant reservoir, better to rip it out and start fresh.

I was one of the people who had to raise the pump - grinding a section of the hood support bracket so I could invert the adel clamps and raise the pump worked for me.

Well shit. I'm keeping my stock air box for now but I'm also in on the Airflow GB #2 shitshow from September. If by some miracle of the Taco Gods that I do get the snorkel someday (which is supposedly compatible with superchargers) I'm worried I'll get the same code. Anybody else running an airflow snorkel with their new SC?
