Lifting my truck... did I cover all the bases?

Alright so I just ordered the toytec ultimate lift kit. From reading around and asking nub questions I'm guessing it's pretty mandatory for me to get a new set of UCAs to get the alignment right. Any recommendations on this? I've seen light racing and total chaos thrown around the forum. What's the real difference? LRs seem to be a couple hundred bucks cheaper. Are the TCs worth all the extra cash?
Anyway. I want to use my stock rims with 285/75/16s so I'm gonna go with the spidertrax hub centric spacers.
SO. 3 inch ultimate lift, either LR or TC UCAs, and spidertrax spacers with 285/75/16 tires. Do I have EVERYTHING covered for a nice comfy ride and some sick off roading? There won't be any rubbing with this setup right? I'm already breaking the bank with all this shit, so plz tell me this is it =[

p.s. 2010 TRD OR 4x4 v6 manual. MAINLY street driving with some off roading a dozen or so times a year where I will beat the crap out of it.

looks good but I think you will have rubbing abit with it and 285's but it will be min. with the spidertrax

 

I wouldn't go 285's....go like 275. I don't get why people want to stuff the biggest tire under their ride? Don't you want to have some flex and some wheelwell gap?

275 / ? / 16 ? a 275/70 has a smaller diameter than a 265/75.

 

285's will work

 

Any advice on the UCAs? Any reason to pay 200+ more for the total chaos over the light racing or even some other brand I don't know about?

 

Dont do 285's, go with 265's...more articulation

 

I have Icon UCA's. and I love it.I got my UCA's for $800.And some thing else you might want to think about is your brake lines. Especially if you are going 3in lift. Better to be save then sorry. You can fine the extended Brake lines at ALLPRO.com and also they got UCA's with the new 1.1/4 ball joints. With my Icon UCA's i got way more articulation, I had to change my front brake lines. and im running 33's.(285/75/16 with 4.5 back spacing.)

 

800 is a bit much for me =[ The LR UCA is almost half price. I don't quite understand what you get with the way more expensive ones. Aren't the aftermarket UCAs just there to get the alignment right?

 

Its depends, Im new to tacoma world. But i have been a member of TTORA.com for long time. After mostly every one complaining of squeeky noise i decided to pay more and not deal with lubricating my UCA's. Is all up to you. Why do you think the most UCA's have a lubricating nipple? I've had my UCA's for almost 7 months. Never a noise. It all comes down to what you like. I didnt like my buddie's truck squeeky noise so i decided to buy ICON. Couple more $'s but its worth it if you ask me.

Im still waiting on my friend to call me back. And another way to save money is to install the UCA's urself. Its easy.

 

I have that exact set up on mine with the LR UCA's and 285-70-17's. I don't rub but not sure if you might with the 75's. I LOVE the ride and handling.
