how did you like Aulani? We've really wanted to go. She's never been to Hawaii and i've gone several times so i thought it would be awesome to stay there.

Haha started reading both your posts wondering how you could do all that through Disney...NO KIDS. I priced out Disney for my family and just getting into the park was 1k for my wife, myself and daughter. I'll stick to the old VHS tapes for her Disney experience.

My wife won't be opening any gifts from me this Christmas nor I from her. We both agreed to spend the money on the truck plus I finally got around to finishing her wedding set this month for her birthday

passholding seriously helps out with costs. Like i said we spent $600-700 (cant remember) each on passes for the year. We've been there 40 days. Without the passes, that would be roughly $4,200 a piece to do so. Not to mention the % off for dining and merch.

It's 500/nt. If you have family out there it's 400/nt. We didn't stay there, but were able to do a bunch of things on site. Something to think about if you don't wanna shell out the loot. Just know that its not hella Disney there

couldn't you just buy it and ship it to someone out of state?

iirc california stops you from shipping here, but not out of state for carb non-legal junk

No idea. Have yet to encounter this issue until now. For shits and gigs I looked at a CARB legal intake for my Lexus. Can't be shipped here either lol.

    Are you DVC members?

We liked it as a resort. We went during April for our 5 year anniversary. I would say that next trip there will involve more participation with the resort activities and sponsored events. We stayed at the resort and explored the island on our own time. I think having less structure to our first trip allowed us to explore more and hate the traffic. If you are a DVC member, the cost is quite reasonable. We used our points and paid for the flights. The car rental situation sucked donkey balls. Hertz said we had reserved a T4R but when we got there, the attendant said they don't have any T4R's in their fleet on that island. We got stuck with a Dodge shitbox Journey...

The great thing about being an adult is that you aren't limited by your choices of what to do. Some people like Vegas, some people like Disney... Different strokes for different folks.

Don't worry I feel the same way about Vegas, strip clubs, booze cruises and some parts of Mexico.
