I took my truck in right before this TSB came out. They authorized my dealer to check the angles and were going to authorize this same fix if mine met the requirement.

Do you guys know if that BS angle requirement still exists? Somehow I'm within their spec (or was a couple months ago).

Yes, I do as well. It's better, but still feel the rumble strip ever-so-slightly...and still have vibrations at 50 mph.

Pre-tsb, I tried that and it didn't take away the vibes. Haven't tried since getting the tsb done last week. Will try soon.

Update: Just tried 4H last night, no difference. Here's something interesting though...prior to this tsb and the new leafpacks, I would get the rumblestrip around 20 mph, and vibes when driving at 35 mph and 50 mph. Now, the rumblestrip is pretty much gone (not completely, but I can live with it) and the vibrations have shifted to 40 mph and 55 mph and are a little less bad. Does that make sense to anyone? Thinking that the change in angle with the tsb shims helped, but perhaps I still need more of an angle adjustment?

The floor on the left always has. It is very minimal now, I gave up on that
fix - it's most likely the engine mounts. I have the Husky WB Mats so I glued some
foam under the left side and for the most part it's gone, if I feel it at all I'll just
crank up the ported sub box. :D

So I made an appt for 5k miles service and mentioned this tsb as well as the trans. Rep kept telling me there were no recalls. I agreed and tried to tell here they were service bulletins.
I will show up with them printed out.
    Question:
The tsb states it is for all 2016 tacomas not OR, then there is a section with VINs listed. Mine ends in 42xxx, and the list shows 39xxx. Will it still apply to my truck? It does exibit a slight vibration as described.

At the dealer now. They will not perform TSB on my truck , cause it's an Off Road.

Only one dealer in my city. Game over.

I've tried the corporate route . Case numbers...Case managers....field techs......

In the end, they will all say the same damn thing

"Vibration is a normal characteristic "

However, MAKE SURE you get a free 7-8 year platinum warranty from corporate when you complain. They will give it to you fairly easily to try to appease you. A little reassurance in case our trucks vibrate themselves apart after the 36K warranty is over.
