Yup, will get it checked when i get the service done in a week or two, also will have them check the navigation unit for the latest road maps as it appears to be missing some rather main roads out here in NB, roads that are 3-4 years old. Go figure.

I wish they had Android auto and Apple carplay. I have the nav on my TRD OR and it is nowhere as good as Google maps.

I had no issues with them last winter in s.w. ON. and we had some good snow falls in Jan/Feb. But I bought
KO2s for this winter as they have the snowflake and three peaks and this gives me a discount on insurance.

Well I wasted a little bit of time at the dealer this morning.

On the phone they told me they would hook it up to see if an update was available. When I got there they refused to hook it up saying that they could not see an update available on Toyota's site for the 2017's.

Anybody in Canada got the update for the 2017?

Had my 2017 in last week for transmission update and radio update if available. No updates were available, so they said.
My truck came with the *200 calibration id update which I checked myself.
I wanted them to check the transmission fluid as well but doesn't look like they did. Have to bring it in again!

I have the 200 calibration as well. Oh well, I guess the update that came out mid-november in the US is not in Canada yet.

Hopefully someone will be able to check and let us know.

Mine drives relatively fine, but highway driving is somewhat annoying. Driving on a flat plane and all of a sudden it downshifts for no reason, it could be a very slight shift in winds. Feels like it's always right on the edge between 5th and 6th. Not a huge problem, but looking forward to an update.

I would still wait a bit. That thread with the Rev. 1 is bringing up some other complaints and issues when I read it the other day. Let our friends to the south test it out for us.

Considering the radio is updated through USB, has anyone thought of obtaining the firmware from the US version so we might get the goodies the US version has?

For some reason Toyota won't license it here. Beaten dead horse many times over.

I'm not sure if anybody tried it here but I'd bet they have updates like that tied to serial numbers so it may get rejected on an upload.

Maybe so, I wouldn't be worried about it being rejected, i'd be worried about bricking it...

London loves salt. I swear the road turns white with the amount of salt they use during the winter. (it must be dirt cheap) When one of those salt trucks goes by it peppers the side of my truck from three lanes over. Grrrrrr.
Of course it helps that we have a huge salt deposit that produces 45% of salt mined in Canada a couple hours away in Guelph.

Good point. Just had mine updated a few weeks ago to the latest firmware due to screen going blank on occasion.

For the 2GR (3.5L) engine and the AC60 6-speed automatic transmission
    and REV-1 in Canada:

Today, I go to my dealer for my 16 000 km maintenance (Service # 2 // change of oil).

Also... I had something else to check ...

With a paper copy of the USA TSB-077-016 REV-1 ... After research in their system .... they confirmed that the ECM Calibration version 300 (rev.1) isn't still available in Canada for the moment :(

But they will contact me when this rev.1 becomes available.... I check this in new year ;)
