Most used softbox? I'm in the market for one soon and was considering the Westcott 28" but also thinking about the 50" Apollo. Would like something I could use with either speedlites or a monolight.

Also on the Godox is the light output really in the 360 ws range? With you're 600 ws lights are you able to over power the sun or would I need more power for that? Do you have the xplor lights with the HSS or the non TTL?

Don't have a most used softbox. It all depends on what I am shooting, and the effect I want to get. Most of the time I shoot with 3 lights in studio. When at the beach I use a single strobe with either a beauty dish, or the octobox or speedbox.

Yes, the Godox puts out a full 360W! Bright as hell!

My 600W lights can easily overpower the sun, but to do so would actually ruin the rimlight effect that makes those beach shots so beautiful.

The Xplor come with either HSS or with HSS and TTL. I chose the HSS because with a strobe I have no need for TTL as I shoot manual and make my own light adjustments for the effect I want. Really a waste of money to get the TTL version unless you shoot Auto in my opinion.

I am still an auto technician! hahaha. I really just build the bearings as a full time job. Photography is just a lifelong passion.

As for the electrical kits, I am on hold with making new ones until I get some issues sorted out and some back orders taken care of.

Here is an example of why I never overpower the sun. Look at the awesome effect the natural sunlight gives to the photo below. A beautiful "rim light" glow on her skin from the sun, and well lit from the front. Overpowering the sun would make the lighting on her look too artificial. With the under powered light it allows nice, natural shadows from the sun to still be cast.

For Pentax the Godox and Cactus controller is one of the best combos out there from the experts and pictures that are presented. Damn @BamaToy1997 when I suggested the star of end result is the end result, didn't mean that you had to burn up all the pixels of my laptop which I just purchased and is rated as the second most powerful commercial laptop available today.

Models aside, your skills and technique are why I am here. To learn. Although I doubt no matter how much equipment I have I will never approach the "eye" that many on here, especially you have. Bravo Zulu good sir!

It's all about practice. I didn't start shooting models til September of last year. Before that it was cars and nature.

Yeah, Sorry.... I get off-track sometimes!
