Finally installing a lift on my 2014 4X4 access cab this week (if all goes well). 5100's all around, toytec 521600 coils with shock set @ 0, progressive 3 leaf in rear, TC control arms and really having a difficult time deciding whether or not to add the 3/8" poly spacer (or if i should order 1/4" aluminum instead if better for cv's?). I want the height (should be 3" easy for access cab) and i know i could just take them out later (I would only have to re-align) but im trying to figure out whether or not i should even put them on in the first place. I was hoping to not do the differential drop kit and Im starting to think that a lot of these trucks ive seen and heard talking about using the spacers with these coils were prerunners possibly. Any 4x4s running similar setup with spacers with any advice id really appreciate it! thanks for anything.

Are you talking dual spacers or Taco lean spacers?

Dual spacers. Dont have any lean. When leaving in overload will get 2" in rear and want to make sure there is no rake

So would 3/8" poly or 1/4" aluminum be better with 521600s or neither because it's 4x4 is the question i guess. Flip a coin maybe. Just wondering if any 4x4s were running either and happy or dissatisfied

521600 with 1/4" driver side spacer. 3 leaf aal in the rear and kept the overload on my factory non-tsb leaf pack. The back is slightly higher than the front. The bed generally has around 300lbs including the canopy.

265 75 16. Cv looks like they would accept a good more amount of lift. No diff drop. Very very small vibe only at take off around 7mph, but I live with it.

If you are set on wanting to be level and don't usually have weight in the bed I would get at least 3/8" top plate spacers on each side or explore the option of ome 887s.

Sorry to revive this thread, but I am going to be having 521600 installed in a week. My current set up is 5100's set at 1.75 on stock springs with wheeler 1.5" aal with overload. My front is currently 1.25" lower than the back. I do have a 1/2" drivers side lean. So what I am thinking along with my 5100's set at zero with the 521600 is installing a 3/8" spacer on drivers side and 1/4' spacer on passenger to compensate for any settling and to level it out. I am I thinking correctly? I don't want it lopsided and have a lean on the passenger side.

    Thanks in advance!

You'll be good. I'm running the same setup.

Great. Thanks for the reply! I'm not getting new ucas so I won't be able to double up on 3/8 and 1/4" on the drivers side.

Nice looking rig by the way!!

Appreciate it. Honestly, i would advise against stacking a 3/8" and a 1/4" poly spacer together. If you plan on top plate spacers, spend the extra money on the 1/2" and 1/4" aluminum ones. Contrary to what they advertise, they do crush some. I know this fact personally :anonymous:

Thanks for the info! Yeah I'm not going to stack them just a 3/8" on driver and a 1/4" on passenger.

How much did your springs settle? By my calculations I will be a 1/4" high in the front with the spacers. I'm going for even or even a little factory rake.

I think they settled somewhere around a 1/4" or so. My front bumper guard takes 1/4" away. I have the stock 2+1 leaf pack (overload left in), with wheeler's 3 leaf aal and 3* axle shims. I have since removed the smallest leaf from the aal, because the rear was almost 2" higher than the front with that entire rear set up.

I should be pretty close then. Thanks again!
