Poked around under there on Saturday and didn't see anything that seemed too difficult and the wires seem to have plenty of slack to work with. Two notes: don't just pull on the connectors, there's a little clip on the left hand side to squeeze to get it to release and the OBDII wires are ridiculously small so I'd take extra care with those.

I did the install last night. It took me almost 2 hours but I was being extra careful and triple checking wires before splicing. Instructions were great, I would check wire locations on connector as well as wire colors. I used military splices, tape, and cable ties so I could easily remove system if needed.

Thank you Nick for your hard work and support on this system!

Glad you like it and always nice to hear my directions were spot on. Thank for the purchase enjoy that warm truck!!

2 hours and $130.00 is still much better than a install bay or dealer price :thumbsup::thumbsup: Its also nice knowing it was done to your expectations

So the mysmartstart can be integrated into the KBVooDoo remote start kit?

Yes all you have to do is buy the smart start 300 or 350 online (Cheapest is Amazon) and plug it into the remote start

Received the pre voodoo kit today as I was one of the special ones (not the one currently for sale) and installed everything per Nick's instructions. I cut wires and used solder seal wire connectors. They are kind of a pain in the butt to use; especially on these 22 Guage wires that Toyota uses. My wire strippers don't even go that small.

Remote start works as advertised. Thanks Nick for putting this together.

Just got my bypass in the mail today and man I couldn't be any happier! I have installed several stereos in my past but never ever considered messing with an ECU especially on a brand new 40k ride. But based on what I read here I took the dive! And I couldn't have been more happy! The supplied directions and the video @nickj718 put together are very easy to follow giving you the precise connector and wire to tap into! Took right about 90 mins to install and put back together and works like a charm! Not a single issue one! Way to go @nickj718 we need more people around like you!! Job well done! As a side not this guy responds like I have never seen. He is prompt in responses and precise with his answers. All around perfect transaction!

I'm another happy early adopting customer! 45 minutes and now I will have a warm truck for my commute. I just need to remember to turn down my stereo when I park....blasted the whole neighborhood with Alt-J this morning. Thanks again @nickj718. Most people get how much effort you have and are putting into this thing, and appreciate your continued support as @KB Voodoo takes the helm. As for those members that don't get it, meh. You can't please everyone, nor should you try. I'm pretty confident 99% of the people that purchase this kit are going to be ecstatic.

Longshot, but just picked up a used kit. No directions, so does anyone have the wire directions laying around? I'm sure I could figure it out via the couple videos floating around, but a wire specific sheet would be rad. Thanks!
