    Question regarding the DIY rear dif breather relocation: Is there a specific reason for relocating to the fuel filler cap area? Does it become a pain in the ass when refueling and banging it all the time with the nozzle? Has anyone relocated to a different area? After hearing of the deep water crossings last week thought I'd better get this simple mod complete.

    No specific reason other than its high up and protected from elements. Into the bed cubby is also a possibility. I put mine in the gas filler and haven't thought twice about it in 4 years...

    Yuppers, me too. AND ITS EASY lol. I terminated mine way up near the top of the cavity. If the rear end is ever that deep, I'll have bigger issues. @Don5352

    I used the free-breathing lawn mower fuel filter from O'Reilly.

    Since I have a topper, I put in the back corner of my bed under my fire extinguisher. Was a easy place. If I had a bed rack I would have been in the fuel hatch or all the way to the engine with the others.

    I put it behind the driver taillight also, mainly because it was the easiest spot to relocate it without needing a drill. Some zip ties and a few minutes, it was done.
