No 11 gauge is 1/8" steel.

Or do mean same strength? That I would assume you'd be more familiar with.

It's not on par quite with 3/16 steel so could be a good guess.

And try it. I've read a few pieces on the back fins makes the howling go away.

@m3bassman When I had my lightbar on my 4runner, I took about 3-5 pieces of styrofoam, and slid them into the vents on the back side in certain places. Completely stopped the howling.

Take a few pieces of ducttape, and put them in three spots along the back of it and go drive on the highway. Then just adjust them until you know exactly where the wind is hitting. Then just find some small styrofoam pieces and trim then to be just barely larger than the vent and slide them him. Small pieces will do the trick, and can handle the weather and moisture just fine. They also will be small enough that there is no issue on overheating.

Finally! I just ordered one. I have only been able to use my 50 when parked as a work light because glare is so intense.

Might have been how you had the lightbar aimed as well. Just adjust it to how you would have it normally and drive around for a day then when yo9u hear the sound start adding tape.

Another position applied for. This is a recent graduate position with the feds. Basically they will train you for a year and then fast track you to a higher grade and better position. These are based out of Idaho...I put preference for Pocatello since it's closer to Wyoming but Boise and several other places were listed. Can't wait to accept a position and stop worrying about applying for jobs.

Yeah, got tired of the 706 area code making people think I was from the east. Also get random calls all the time looking for some Angela person.

Interview went well, cfo seemed impressed with additional excel skills and sql experience and the president liked my Boy Scout history...so I'm feeling good and I'm hopeful. Just have to see when they think the acct position will be needed and hope it's not more than a month or 2 out
