    haha, I wish that were the case. Been working 12 hour days, 6 days a week for a couple weeks now and that is going to run into mid-January. I also have to finish a grill build by the 14th of January on top of just general living nonsense that is mandatory of a bachelor lol. Not to mention I am STILL waiting on the driveshaft to get done, then I have to do skid plates/transmission crossmember, exhaust, and the rear brakes again. It'll be tough but I am damn sure going to try :D:crapstorm:

    Hey guys I had a question, which trails do you guys consider are kind of too adventurous for 2wd at Citrus WMA? I took my truck through trail 7, that's prob as adventurous as I dare go.

    There's really no trail out there too adventurous for a 2wd. Clearly, there are some places you don't want to drive through with a 2wd, but those usually have bypasses. I've never had any problems with 2wd open-diff trucks following me down any trail I've been down and I've been down almost all of them.

    Ok Ill have to see and try them, take my truck out there.
    Also is can someone explain difference between locked and open differential? when I was out in the sand bars. My wheels would spin at different speeds, also when I would climb something and one wheel had less traction the other would spin faster and the one with less traction would not spin at all, it sounds like a locked differential....But as far as my suspension and such parts go I'm pretty certain its stock. Is that possible?

    maybe limited slip?

    which one is better?

    I have a few mods
    locked differential = both wheels have equal power no matter the situation

    open differential = wheels spin at different speeds which allows turning to be very easy, power goes to the wheel with least resistance in offroad situations

    limited slip = kind of an in between for a locked and open differential, it kinda puts even power, but its not fully locked, it notices there's slipping and prevents all the power going to the leas resistance side

    They all have their pros and cons, but for offroading, typically a selectable locking differential is the best and ideal option as you can select when you want it locked and turn it off when you dont. so you get the power and capability of a locked when you want it, but then turn it off and daily drive with the benefits of an open differential and not squelch your tires with a locked rear end since the inside tire cant spin freely

    What you describe is an open diff. The wheels will spin independently of each other. This allows you to go around corners and such without dragging or spinning one of the tires (since the outside tire has to travel further than the inside tire when turning).

    In a locked diff, the wheels are locked together so they both receive 100% of the power regardless if one wheel has little or no traction. This allows the tire with traction to continue moving the truck until both tires are on the ground again. Having a diff locker will definitely increase the off-road capability of your truck, but depending on the type of locker, it can result in poor road manners.

    Whelp.... my time in Florida has come to an end :( as of Friday, 30Dec--I'll be living in the lost swamp state of Louisiana. Joyous.... 3years.... fucking shoot me now, backwoods area.

    Hoping to move to Tampa for my next move. We shall see, :9 hopefully more citrus meets in a few years!

    Had to look at more than one video. Besides, my post has visual aids to help with understanding, so I guess I'm a quality over speed type. :p

    Not that you got anything wrong...except maybe the selectable locker being the best. That's a matter of opinion. :thumbsup:
