So we got another snow day today and I am about sick of this crap! Its so much snow that I can not go to work or see my girlfriend. I am not willing to risk bringing out the poor Toyota. And it so bad they are calling in the national guard. F my life, so how is the weather where everyone else lives and what are you doing in the snow??

I know what you mean man. We're just about to start getting our 18-24" dump here. Pray for my back and heart to stay in one piece. I haven't had to shovel this much in years!

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
How much did you get for them to call out the National Guard?

You have a 4WD Tacoma and will not take it out? My 2WD with stock tires has performed better than expected so far.

Take your Tacoma to a close by parking lot and put it through its paces. Get going 25mph and slam on the brakes to see what happens then compensate to keep it going Streight till you stop. This will build up your confidence driving in the snow.

Then take it over to see your GF oh and offer to stop and pick up anything she needs.

I do not let the snow stop me. I expect that using the snow blower tonight and tomorrow will keep me occupied. I will probably take the family out to dinner or a movie tomorrow.

Put weight in the back of it too it will help with traction even if you have 4WD.

We only have rain down here in Charlotte.

Im home today with my second go-around with the flu! I told the wife that i cant wait until later tonight so i can go out and play in the snow. She just shakes her head and says im nuts.
One thing is for sure, after the last 24 inches...i need to replace the factory Dunlops. They are horrible in the snow

Skied the pow yesterday after a small 6"dump on top of the 10'+ we have here, snow is piled up higher than most single story homes and we are only half way thru the season, forecasted to snow another 3ft. by next Sat. - LOVE it. Favorite driving is rallying in the snow, bashing off 2'+ banks, snow flying over hood.
Enjoy it, just give yourself some space to stop if you need to.
Oh- and remember how warm it is between those legs and get over to her house at any cost!!!

Exactly! Man up because there is little that is as fun as driving in snow. The more the better!
