You have one of those too?

Guess I'm getting my CWP next year to keep her nerves at ease. Her only baby girl camping alone will cause her to lose her damn mind.

Mine did a fantastic job. Thank you, Ian! Both will be put to good use and the total is far more than expected from this event. Well done, sir.

You sure your mom meant CWP kind of "protection in case someone tried to mess with you"?

Actually. If you're going out solo a large caliber is good for creepy men and predators. Anything smaller than .45 is probably next to useless with predatory animals. And the right ammo is key too.

For some reason I can picture Daria with a collection of little boxes of trimmings...
oh yeah. Parents hate that I camp alone. They don't understand. Maybe I'm crazy but I feel safer being 100 miles from the next human than stuck in a crowded campground with sloppy campers...

LOL Yeah she's obsessed with beard hair.

Just be bear aware, ya know? And keep in mind if you DO come across another human ain't nobody around to help if they are creepy!

If it's a dirty unshaven dude in a van or a Subaru run away. LoL

Mom got her first gun this year so she's all gung ho on me getting one now. I remember asking my stepdad for the key to the tool box so I could fix my truck and he proceeded to show me his collection of guns instead.
I've only touched guns once in my life, a neighbor took me to his cabin in the woods to try out a dozen guns. Was one of the best days since moving to SC. Now that I've been living alone for a couple years, I'm far past due to get my first gun. Luckily one of my old customers offers a CWP class and I have a standing offer for a free class. Just gotta drag my ass down there. Might see if he'll do a ladies class if I get some girlfriends to go. Plus he's entirely too easy on the eyes. My girlfriends will love it. :p
