@aero3685 That is a little early to go through brakes, not horrible though. Full time mountain drivers have those issues. Try more aggressive engine braking by manually downshifting. Canyon carving with fat trucks is hard on them brakes. The side to side wear on the caliper is normal, Typically the inside pads wear 1to2mm faster then the outsides. Usually the left wears out 1st but different driving styles can change wear items on different vehicles.

It's bad ass. Just need to power up the rear camera and trim the bezel. That head unit is fucking awesome!

What all is different then say a normal head unit. Did they add/change anything else?

Extremely detail GPS system. WiFi and you can load all of your Google play apps. Simple steering wheel control link up, hand free calling and the list goes on and on and on!

Yeah, like I said (and was ignored), the brake wear, and presence of brake dust started when I started driving into the mountains daily. When I looked at them right before moving up here, they looked surprisingly newish for how many miles. I've tried to add up the extra weight that is in the truck which doesn't help when in the mountains. Topper, fridge, boatload of recovery gear, 200-300 pounds of regular weight in the bed plus another 100+ at times...

I do manually downshift when I can. Without anyone in front of me, I can drive down without touching the gas or brake or downshifting. Other drivers heading downhill upset that applecart real quick. The driveway is unfortunately nothing but a mile of steep grades and its brakes all the way... or putting it into 4low.
