anyone in or around north Dakota that can recommend a good truck lift dealer/installer?

I am willing to drive to another state if need be to get good work done correctly. I do NOT trust the local shops on installing it correctly.

    thanks

What are you looking at for a lift? I have a small shop in Fargo and may be able to help you out.

A lift is a relatively easy thing to DIY. Plenty of threads on here w/pics that make it pretty dummy proof. Just did mine this past weekend in about 5 hours.

It all depends on what kind of lift though. Is the OP talking a front leveling kit? A small 3" lift? Bigger 6-12" lift? They're all very different.

How so? You are taking the old stuff off and putting the new stuff on.

Well, a front leveling kit, that some people refer to as a "lift kit" is much easier to install than a 6" suspension lift.

on the front whether you are doing the "lift kit" or installing new coil overs, the same stuff has to come off.

sorry was busy this past week.

I am only looking for a 1-2" in lift, mostly to add a sso front bumper down the road. I don't have the tools or the space to do it properly. I'd rather pay someone to do it correctly the first time. I've tried things like this in the past when I was younger but even then I had to readjust 1-2 times after the fact.

plus I can turn this into a road trip :)

I can figure out a price for a leveling kit and install if you're interested. I'm crazy busy with remote starters so wouldn't really be able to get something like this in until remote start season slows down.

I've had Cedric Theel in Bismarck put on my first lift in the 4Runner along with a few of my buddies that have had them do lifts in their Tundras and 5th gen 4runners. The Fargo dealership wont touch a lift kit it seems like but Theel will do it and I didnt think it was too spendy to have done the right way. I also didnt have the means to do it myself at the time

thanks. yeah I wouldn't want to try this during the winter months up here. too much snow/ice packing into the suspension and what not.

Avoid the Toyota dealership here in Fargo at all costs. I worked there for 3 years installing accessories and absolutely could not believe some of the shady things I saw there.
