    None,
    yes,
I did the Maglite install on the driver's seat.
Home Depot Canada had this flashlight in the clearance bin,
I ordered the mounting brackets off Amazon. My total investment
for both is less than $25.00 plus about 10 min to do the install.
    A good deal for me...

Keep an eye out for the LED upgrade or your flashlight. Totally worth it for a few bucks . I did it to my 2xAA Maglite and wished I had done it sooner.

Big mag lites are a must -
They also serve as excellent personal defense weapons, or as I call them, "hippie wompers"

So, I go years between using my maglite. Any better tricks for keeping the batteries from dying (besides not keeping them in the flashlight)?

If you use a lithium battery you shouldn't see the discharge issues.

You just drill them into the sides of the seat base?

    None,
    For my install,
I removed the lower side panel on the seat.
I located the mounting points and then screwed the brackets to the side panel using the screws provided in the Maglite kit.
I also added speed nuts (bought from Lowes) for extra support on the inside of the panel

Yep! I've had my 4 cell mag lite between the seat and console for the past decade. The LED upgrade is a must for older mag lites! Nice mod, looks good Thats where I keep my fire extinguisher.
