Good 5th wheels are rare as hens teeth. They either make oversized monstrosities you need a 2500 Duramax or better to pull, or little boxes with a horrible layout. My grandparents had a 22' they hauled across country three times that he kept in perfect shape because it was perfectly laid out. Meanwhile, my folks 44' was a piece of crap that inspired them (foolishly) to trade it in on the "rolling mortgage" motor home (which they are now upside down on).

Tents only significant benefits are that they are modular and are muuuuuuuuuch cheaper.

I still have a bunch too...many did not survive the fire tunnels & jumps I made.

 

My son just got like a case of 200 for Christmas. FUCK.YES.

 

We had two of those when I was younger. Both used. The Starcraft was so shitty it inspired us to get rid of it immediately in favor of a Litton hard-side. That was awesome...and an unholy pain to repair (all fiberglass). Replaced that with a 24 foot Layton that was awesome. Lasted over 12 years.

 

I still collect them.

I just don't take them out of the packages anymore.
