I'm not trying to be a grumpy old man, but straight up putting LED's in halogen/reflector housings not designed for it is blinding everyone else. Putting HID's in halogen/reflector housings not designed for it is blinding everyone else. Using "I only get high beamed X number of times per trip" isn't exactly a sign of success. This has been covered 1,000 times on this site and many others.

I know this is going to fall on deaf ears (eyes?) because nobody is going to walk out to their truck and uninstall their LED's, but for anybody else looking to upgrade, don't drop in LED's to your stock reflector housings. Its going to yield less light, have a shitty beam pattern, and blind oncoming traffic.

You should take your vehicle to the Subaru dealership and explain that you think the headlights are improperly aimed. I did just that with my Tacoma and magically no more high beaming...

I put LEDs in my truck because its what I wanted. I really could care less about oncoming traffic. There are a ton of people that drive around with their highbeams on all the time so who really cares about fog lights. I dont make changes to my truck based on what everyone else sees, that's their problem, that doesnt make me a bad person. As far as the light outpur and beam pattern, that is entirely subjective and personal preference. I prefer my LED fogs over stock, they light up the entire highway and the ditches no problem, which is why I generally always have them on, where as before I almost never used my stock fogs.

You may not be a bad person, but you're definitely a dick. I bet you had pretty sick Honda Civic in high school.

Sorry My first car which I still own was an 88 Jeep YJ, which has since been turned into a rock crawler. But ya I'm a dick, I pull people out of ditches and fix their cars when stranded.

They probably wouldn't be in that ditch if you hadn't blinded them with your fogs... lol ok I'm done.

Sorry I pull people out with my Jeep, my F-250 with stock lighting as well. You are in VA, you know people don't know how to drive. I think we can all see who the real dick is here. Sorry bud but you're just an asshole.

The reality is automotive lighting is changing. there are plenty of times I think cars have their highbeams on and its just their low beams. My Corolla with stock LEDs blinds more people than my Tacoma fog lights.

Maybe go play some Homeworld and take a break form the internet.

Easy to swap too..just open the hood and reach down from the top - just behind the grille. Disconnect the harness from the stock bulb, DO NOT remove the bulb. Use a phillips head screw driver to remove (1) screw towards the outside of the truck. I used a tiny 3" screw driver which worked great. The entire assembly will come right out. Repeat steps in reverse to install the new fog housings. DON'T attempt to install from the bottom of the bumper unless you enjoy a hassle. Hope this helps, Merry Christmas.

Feel free to share a picture of the beam pattern of your fog lights against a wall so we can see whether or not, with these LEDs, you're blinding others. If you aren't, cool. If you are, yeah, it's pretty inconsiderate; especially given fogs are so secondary.
