Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Yes you can. No cost if I remember correctly. A customer service call and both radio IDs.

I like Sirus. I haggle every year and get a cheap price. I listen to classic vinyl and classic rewind mostly. I use the app on my phone all day every day streaming news. Tmobile is cool also with the Sirus app they dont charge data for it. So just bluetooth to my car without Sirus

The XM/Sirus is free for the first 3 months. A month before it expired in my truck I started getting mail (email and snail) reminding me that it was expiring and to renew. After it expired, I then got all kinds of mail to renew for 6 months for $25, ect. I received these email at least once a week now. So if you plan to renew it, just wait till it expires and you'll get a better deal.

I know people with Sirius. I think the magic # is $5 a month. I believe this is what you can get if persistent.

    Persistent?

That's their standard offer that I get in the mail twice a week. And in their Facebook page, emails, etc.

    6 months for $30

Also, I just changed the address on my sirius account to send the emails and physical mail to Jim Lentz. He's the boss of whoever put a sirius radio in my truck, so he can deal with the spam caused from doing so.

I did not get any free trial with my truck. But I had it in my last car and used it for all of 10 minutes. Don't want it. Don't need it.

Ok just trying to remember what I heard. I knew if it was not true someone would respond. Not interested in Sirius at any price for myself.
Just FYI, what is the rock bottom price for a monthly- asking for a friend. ....

I don't think this is true. I'm about a week from my trial expiring and every day I get a voicemail on my work number from SIRIUSXM. Never got them in all the years beforehand.

I think they offered me the mostly music pack for $25 a year.

But I was asking for the top end package for $5 a month and they wouldn't do it. The one with all of the nhl/nfl games.

I wish you could pause a song. I could pause a song in my previous truck, a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500, I just got a 2017 TRD off road DCLB.

I believe you could pause a song. It depends on which Entune radio you have. I have the Premium and Tech package on my truck and have the option to pause XM and the regular radio. In fact, when I get a phone call, it will automatically pause the song, then play back when I hang up.

I have the premium and tech package also. I've paused the regular radio, but haven't seen where I can pause XM yet. I'll have to play around with it. thanks.

Sorry, but I think you are right, you can't pause XM. I got confused. Sorry about that.

No worries, I'm confused at the moment too. Trying to figure out what I want to do to this truck!

$5 a month, just call them up and tell them you received an email offer, 6 months for $30. Then cancel it a few days before the 6 nonths and renew it again for the same price. I listen to mine every day and it's nice when you go on a trip, same stations nation wide.

But all the stations suck... So it's crappy, but at least consistently so?

Also, sirius cuts out all over az. :/

Darn those beautifully scenic mountains that are full of copper.

The only decent package is the all access where you can stream from a computer and the app.
It's still pretty garbage except for the sports channels and the fantasy channel.
All it cuts out when you go under a bridge, and that has always annoyed me.
I think the cheapest I got the all access on another car was like $9 a month for 6 months, but even then you have to do the same haggling 2x a year. Too much of a hassle.

I haven't seen anyone detail on how you get the trial activated. Mine was not activated by the dealership upon delivery.

Step 1: Look for the free trial pamphlet in your owners manual pack, it contains a URL to go to in order to activate (plus a channel guide and other marketing crap).
Step 2: Use a smart phone to go to the website and fill out the info.
Step 3: It will ask for a code, tune to channel 001 (I think?..the instructions tell you) and on your Entune screen a code will pop up.
Step 4: Enter the code in to the website, finish the sign up and confirm you have access to all the channels on your HU.

I agree that the service is crap. The audio on the channels I would like is awful. Sounds like very low bit rate streaming. Pandora has better audio quality through the Entune app. I like hard rock and metal. "Liquid Metal" overplays Metallica and the sound quality is the worst. I think I kept flipping to that channel for 2 weeks, and EVERY time, Metallica was playing.

If you are in to other music genres, I think some are decent sound quality.
