I have owned first, second, 3rd and land cruisers. All of the owners manuals have said to run the 4 wheel drive once a month. 2nd gen owners manual said to do figure eight patterns in a parking lot at slow speeds.

How did you get your TRD license plate covers on? I tried mine and the measurements were kind of off with the plastic license plate holder

I'm by no means an expert, but I have rebuilt the axles on an old jeep. Dana's are a PITA BTW (no removable carrier). However, I did get some experience and did a lot of research. My jeep axles have been running silent for a few thousand miles. I can tell you that a few thousandths either way with the set up will cause your pattern to look noticeably bad. That's what leads me to believe that your are pretty damn close to perfect. Sometimes perfect is not achievable because shims can only be installed in so many thickness combinations.

It just sounds like a lame excuse to leave an unwanted conversation: "uh yeah, I have to go drive my truck around in circles or else my front drivetrain won't work properly. I'll see you later." I love it hahaha

Truer words have never been spoken!

When I bought it, I promised the wife I'd only put a tonneau cover and nerf bar steps on it! Boy, I'm so far beyond that I'm on thin ice already!

They're manufactured by Vehicle Safety Manufacturing (a company that my employer owns) and we are releasing them for sale just after the new year. They just require a 3/4" hole to be drilled and they pop right into place.
